Places for Family Fun, Play, and Hangout
Spring Valley Nature Center and Bison’s Bluff Play area – This is Schaumburg’s hidden gem. With the nature-based playground, Bison’s Bluff, Heritage Farm a living historical farm, nature center and hiking trails, Spring Valley is a fun place to spend a day with family.

Schaumburg Park District Facilities and Parks – Boasting parks and amenities that are one of the best around Chicago, the park district has a good variety of parks and facilities to choose including Meineke Park where you can try to conquer the park’s obstacle course of nets, structures, and more. The park district includes over 75 different parks and facilities that are great for family fun time.
Schaumburg Township District Library - The Schaumburg Township District Library, located in Schaumburg, Illinois, is the second largest public library in Illinois. Includes a Kid Zone and Teen Center. Very Family friendly to hang out, read, and play.

Legoland Discovery Center Chicago – This is a fantastic play land for Lego enthusiasts and includes a Chicago Miniland. Other attractions include the Lego 4D Cinema, Kingdom Quest, Lego Racers, Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, and many more.

Kids Art & Café - Coffee and Ice Cream Shop with Indoor Playground, Birthday Parties and Art Classes. Kids 48 inches and under are able to enjoy the play areas including a two-story play structure with slides and a ball pit. This is great for indoor play, birthday parties, and art classes.

Pilot Pete’s - Located at the Schaumburg Regional Airport, this restaurant is a relaxed, flight-themed eatery with a full bar, runway views & a menu of American comfort fare.
